Dissapointed on the first post about Oklahoma, okay. I was hoping for at least one trail of tears reference (which remember was from Georgia to Oklahoma…bowl victories over UGA/GT, now OU…coincidence?). Or the least you could do is send Bob Stoops a blanket covered in smallpox like the good old days.

And for a history lesson, the name “sooners” came from the settlers who ilegally inhabitted and claimed land in the territory before the free giveaway in 1889.

Hear Lee Corso say today WVU has a tendency to choke in big games? Lately, i would have to say he is right. However, thats when people expected things from us. We’re flying under the radar now……which means……..mike dent still sucks and we’ll probably lose, but not as badly as the national media thinks.

I would generally agree that 23-8 should get us in, but 22-9 didn’t last year when we beat “UCLA without Darren Collison”. (there of course no mention that we played half the game with TED TALKINGTON, who outplayed all their McDonald’s all-americans).

Marquette probably a L. Wouldn’t be surprised if we beat Louisville. We might beat UConn or Providence on the road (how i miss God Shamgod) and lose to Pitt at home, but i have to say 23-8 or 22-9 is exactly what I was thinking too.

UCONN looked very ordinary against Gonzaga last week. They hoist up a lot of shots, and their big man Thabeet(sp?) is a decent presence. However, we return the same team that beat them in Morgantown last year.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see us take one in Storrs.
